Just keeps freezing when I try to look at messages in group chat. New emoji are horrible as well. Bbm is now unusable for me after all these years. Bbms emojis was one of its best features.
My girlfriend and I are pretty disappointed they are absolutely horrible now. Im not sure who the hell is making the decisions at RIM but they are slowly running blackberry into the bloody dirt and even the die hards are pulling out now. I even bought a keyone and aside from the battery life the more i used it over time the more disappointed i got. After a month i got rid of it. Its unfortunate to see apps like whatsapp taking over. In my opinion you are making spme changes that are pointless.
Stick with what works and what makes bbm what it is or we might as well delete it and just use whatsapp. Very slick app, have used it for several years. New emoji are rediculously childish, like something to entertain a toddler. I can't use them and unless reverted to old style I will be unable to continue using bbm. At least give the option to select old style. And while I'm here, please allow saving of conversations longer than a few days, including emoji, stickers, and pointer to photo. Also please bring back the blue/green dots for delivered/read, the new format is difficult to decipher.

Do I have the notifications from my chats peek, and be too intrusive when i'm, say, watching a video, or playing a game, or heck, even typing up this review; or, do I disable interruptions in Android's notification settings, and as a result, have them pop up silently and not notice they're there until much later? Neither is a good solution, please add back in the option to disable peeking notifications.
