Mauser Model 1934 Serial Numbers
Bob, I have some of the information you are looking for which was printed in the June 1999 issue of NAPCA's Automag magazine. It was submitted by John LaCroix and is copyrighted data he and others collected. From John LaCroix's chart on page 58: For 1914 (7.65mm) 'Types' YEAR.PRODUCTION.APPROX BEGIN SN @ START OF YEAR 1934.6216.5.7019.5.8904.5.9741.5.15031.5.27579.5.43459.5.12811.6.1355.6.1524.6.2633+.633968 THRU 636601+ 1945.????.?????? The latest M1934 I have is sn 619487 which has the Army E/655 acceptance stamp on it. I didn't know any M1934 pistols were manufactured after 1941 but apparently some were.

From that information it could more likely be the 1934 variety since I researched it and the serial no. Range fits that description- 543xxx as does the shape of the grips. FWIW, those model numbers (years) are confusing, in part because Mauser never used them; they were bestowed by American collectors. Ratatouille ps2 walkthrough.
